Job IntroductionWe are looking for a Paralegal to join our market leading, lawyer led claims handling service in our CSG team. We have one permanent contract available on a full time / remote working basis.Who you'll be working with?Our specialism is working with in the retail and consumer sector; handling claims arising from the operation of motor fleets as well as the casualty claims arising from retail operations. We work with a range of corporate and insurer clients and are proud to act for household names and to work with major UK retailers. We are a team of over 60 working across two locations in Newport (South Wales) and Leeds. We are committed to delivering a high quality claims handling service to our clients. Depending on your role, and with the support of a supervisor and team manager you will be expected to:Be responsible for a varied caseload of volume pre-litigated work.Review claims assessing who's at fault and the level of compensation within authority limits.Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.Maintain contact with our clients and their Customers whilst proactively managing their expectations.Meet individual performance measures (financial and quality performance measures).Ensure that the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained.About DAC BeachcroftWe are a leading international legal business with over 2,900 colleagues and a diverse range of capabilities.
