Descripción del empleoAccountant with good analytical and communication skills in a multicultural, financially strong, and growing international FMCG multinational company based in Barcelona centre.General Accounting Responsibilities:Bank account entry and reconciliationIssuing invoices for machines, spare parts, rental, and servicing chargesTracking of machine costsTracking and invoicing machine maintenance contractsAccounts payable - Invoice posting, checking, payment of invoices, account reconciliationAccounts receivable - Debt management, posting of invoices and receipts, account reconciliationBank and cash account entries and reconciliationCalculation and posting of accruals and prepaymentsProvision of month-end information to UK Group financeCustoms entries and processingVAT calculation, reconciliation, processing, and payment according to local requirementsCreation of Intrastat forms and provision of other government dataProvision of salary information to payroll company and paymentPayment and reconciliation of payroll and other business taxesFixed asset ledger maintenanceStock control, calculation, posting stock entries, and reconciliationAssisting auditors with end-of-year accounts workGeneral finance duties as requiredLiaise with tax advisors, insurers, financial authorities, lawyers, bank, etc.Contract Type: Permanent contract with career development opportunities.Mínimos Requisitos:We are looking for an experienced accountant who enjoys working in a small team and can demonstrate a 'hands-on' approach to work. Candidates must be computer literate, able to use accounting software, and be familiar with Excel and Word. They should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and be fluent in written and spoken English.
