Job Description - Follow Claims Specialist (14001785D20240926)
Position: Follow Claims Specialist - Claims Operations
Location: Madrid, Spain
As a Follow Claims Specialist, you will join our Claims Department in the Iberia branch of AXA XL, playing an important part in the continuous improvement agenda of the Department. You will work in an international environment and collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of Claims (e.g., Credit Control, AXA XL India & Poland teams) to improve engagement and best advance team objectives.
In this role, you will proactively manage follow business claims to ensure records are completed, accurate, and up to date. You will assist the Spain Claims Department in several duties such as preparation of control reports, weekly reports, monthly metrics report, mail and phone calls, and collection of judicial suits through Taxes portals. Administrative support is also to be provided when necessary.
Essential Responsibilities:

Supervise follow business outsourced in India and Poland.
Review follow claims statements on a monthly basis, ensuring that records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
Follow up with India & Poland teams.
Provide support to the claims Spain department as needed: Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, receive calls, preparation of control reports, weekly reports, monthly metrics report, collection of judicial suits through Taxes portals.
Handling of Casualty Fast Track claims.

This position reports to the Claims Operations Team Leader, Spain.
Qualifications:

You can work in English and Spanish, communicating fluently in both written and spoken.
Proven experience in similar functions and responsibilities.
Demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, internal colleagues, and departments, as well as across the AXA XL and AXA Group enterprises.
Effective organizational skills, ability to prioritize.
Client-serviced focus: professionalism and diplomacy in communications.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills combined with a strong work ethic.
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high energy environment and are comfortable with uncertainty and cultural differences.
You are willing and able to demonstrate flexibility and calm under pressure.
