.Our opportunityAs a Global Investment Accounting Expert Alternatives & Fund Solutions, you define operational best practices, policies, and guidelines about all Investment Accounting related matters in a most practical standardized and efficient way with a main focus on accounting reporting aspects of alternative funds/special purpose entities. You will be responsible for process design, oversight, and training of our CoE staff towards service delivery in accordance with internal and external International Finance Reporting Standards. You ensure global coordination,consistency, and efficiency from an end-to-end business process including the system evolution to become state of the art.Your roleAs a Global Investment Accounting Expert Alternatives & Fund Solutions, your main responsibilities will involve:Acts as a force of global coordination and global process ownership of all Core functional accounting processes in context of Alternative Assets and related Fund solutions.Oversees newly establishing investment accounting function globally and managing continuous improvement initiatives for our Private Debt & Equity, Real-estate, and Hedge fund balance sheets.Analyzes new products, set-up to derive accounting and reporting implications across all accounting processes and systems, from subledger to general ledger to consolidation.Ensures compliant set-up and implementation of a high-quality function and full-service delivery across IAA's organization with a faster time to account implementation.Your Skills and ExperienceAs a Global Investment Accounting Expert Alternatives & Fund Solutions, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Master's degree in Accounting, Financial Markets & Risks, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.Equivalent postgraduate studies CAIA, CFA preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in Alternative Asset accounting in a senior role overlooking Financial Statements analysis and Fund accounting for private debt/equity.Financial instruments accounting standards (e.G.
