About the role
- Envision the millions of information and data a global reinsurer generates when signing new business, managing cashflow, evaluating risks and much more. How can we ensure all employees keep meaningful information and data, store them securely and make them at the same time easily accessible whilst complying to all external and internal laws and regulations worldwide?
- We are a global team of Records & Information Management and IT specialists providing outstanding first line and second line of defense services in the area of records management, data lifecycle management and information governance. Our agile teams are setup across the products and services we are offering.
We are looking for a great team mate to further develop the services around data & records lifecycle management.
About the team
- A team of consultants and specialists, spread across multiple locations globally, driving the Data & Records Lifecycle Management function at Swiss Re.
- In our first line of defense role, we support in all steps of handling physical and electronic records including classification, legal holds, destruction, and other meaningful lifecycle activities.
- In our second line of defense role, we provide advisory and oversight services such as training, awareness or risk reviews and assessments.
- We are the main contact for our internal clients, business partners and technical people in regard to data & records lifecycle processes and knowledge.
- We are working in an agile environment and living an open self-organized team culture.
About you
- You do not shy back from evaluating alternative options aiming at continuous improvement.
- You are hardworking and feel empowered to drive new creative projects and initiatives for the success of the service, the customers, and your team members.
- You are excited and motivated to communicate and work with international business communities and with various cultural and professional backgrounds.
- You earned a Master's degree in Information Science, Business Administration, Economics or similar.
- You have several years of experience in the field of records management, data lifecycle management or information governance.
- Have you already worked in an agile (SCRUM or Kanban) environment? It's a plus.
