.As an Android Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the Tribe "Digitale Kunden und Vertriebe" within the Customer & Sales IT 1 chapter at Allianz Technology.Your primary focus will be on developing cutting-edge applications for the "Health App" team, contributing to the digital transformation of customer and sales processes.You will be responsible for creating robust and secure applications that meet the complex requirements of Allianz Health Insurance customers in Germany.
Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that enhance customer engagement and streamline sales operations.You Will Utilize your knowledge in programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Groovy, and Shell to develop innovative Android applications.
Implement MVVM, Multimodule-Architecture, Clean Architecture, REST-API, Test-Driven Development, and Behaviour Driven Development Testing in projects.
Work with frameworks like Jetpack Compose, Android View System, Encryption + Keystore, Room (SQlite), Retrofit + Moshi, OpenCV, Espresso Tests, JUnit, OAuth2, and Lottie.
Use tools like Android Studio, Git, Jenkins, Fastlane, Gradle, JaCoCo, SonarQube, and AppCenter effectively.
Apply Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Confluence, Jira, Github Pull-Requests/Reviews, and Figma for design.
Implement encryption techniques and ensure data protection compliance.
Translate complex technical requirements into efficient processes, particularly for insurance applications.
Manage App Store submissions and collaborate with external partners for successful deployment.
Your Skills Demonstrated understanding of Agile principles and proficiency in various Agile tools and methods.
At least 5 years of active experience in Agile practices, transformation, change management, or consultancy, with a strong focus on Android development.
Experience with app architecture up to at least Android 9, with familiarity with Android 14.
Experience with encryption techniques and data protection.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into streamlined processes, particularly in insurance applications.
Preferably with experience in health insurance applications.
Proven experience with App Store submissions and external collaborations.
Willingness and ability to travel to Germany as required.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
