RISK OVERSIGHT Sr. Analyst - SCFHQ

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Santander Consumer Finance focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels, and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers, or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers, or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

As a Risk Oversight Senior Analyst, you will perform a key role in the SCF Western Hub's Risk Monitoring Team.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Analysis, consolidation, and challenge of main credit risk metrics (S3, Provisions, Cost of Credit) as well as the rest of risks (counterparty, market and liquidity, non-financial risks) for units under Western Hub scope.Synthesize and elaborate key messages for senior management, helping to develop Western Hub regulatory and management reports.Support, collaborate, and coordinate the implementation of different projects at the local level, identifying main workstreams with their corresponding owners and monitoring their progress.Support strategic plans and budgeting processes.Oversee and ensure correct performance of local month-end provision calculation processes.Regular communication and coordination with different departments/local units.Producing reports/presentations/supporting materials related to WH Risk Monitoring for different forums.EXPERIENCE Minimum 6 years of experience in Risk Control and Monitoring functions with strong expertise in credit risk.Experience in project implementation/coordination of local units.Experience in a local business unit is valuable.Joint work with other departments such as T&O, Capital.EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in economics, business, or engineering.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE High level of analytical skills and ability to communicate/liaise with other departments/units.Knowledge of credit risk-related topics such as NDD or IFRS9.High level of written and oral communication skills in English.
Knowledge of other languages such as French or Portuguese is valuable.Ability to lead teams and projects.OTHER INFORMATION Occasional business travel will be required.
