SUMMARYResponsibilities Include:Provide strategic and technological guidance to the sales team, supporting the development of sales engagement plans to achieve annual bookings and/or revenue budgets.Work closely with the CTO office on path-finding missions, developing POCs and customer demonstrations to drive technical sales activities for opportunities in forward-looking and emerging technologies as well as new network evolutions.Support the Sales Channels and other stakeholders to identify, qualify, and win new opportunities.Provide input to regional marketing plans and collaborate with Portfolio Marketing to share regional requirements and market insights.Provide consultancy on strategic solutions/strategic customers to ensure the greatest return on investment, liaising with peers to support cross-RBU collaboration.Participate in industry talks and standardization activities (IETF, GSMA, ORAN, etc.).Attend trade shows and conferences, networking within the industry at CTO level to maintain Ribbon's position and communications at a high level.Create and maintain positive ongoing relationships with customers and partners to present and promote the company's portfolio.Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, and industry trends to ensure the CA team is focused in the correct areas, proactively transferring knowledge and cross-training the Field SE teams.Minimum 40% travel required.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant subject.Proven experience and deep understanding of the Telecommunication field, working with mobile VoIP, IP networking, and SDN domains.Experience in pre-sales selling networking equipment or network solutions.Proven ability to present at both technical and decision-making levels, articulating benefits and value propositions to connect technical solutions with customers' business requirements.In-depth expertise in multiple technical domains, including IP Systems, Optical Systems, SBCs, SD-WAN, Network Edge Orchestration, policy and routing, media gateways, applications platforms, and cloud communications solutions.Experience designing carrier-grade communication networks from high-level network architecture.Knowledge of DWDM and ROADM networks.Work experience with one of the following vendors: Cisco, Nokia, Infinera, Ciena, ZTE, Huawei, or System Integrator working with these vendors.Excellent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers at all levels, including CxO level.Excellent verbal and written communication skills on complex technical and sales issues to diverse audiences.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and Salesforce CRM.#J-18808-Ljbffr
