Director, Route Development Transpacific We are looking to hire an experienced Director for Transpacific Route Development for our National Sea Logistics division based in Vancouver.
Your RoleThis role would be responsible to promote and develop the organization's Transpacific Trade Routes.
Your ResponsibilitiesSearch available data sources for potential clients and growth opportunities.Assist the sales team in identifying and preparing solutions for client needs.Support various teams with client presentations.Prepare market updates to be shared both internally and externally.Other job duties as required from time to time.Your Skills and ExperiencesProfessional experience required: Minimum 3-5 years in a sea logistics environment.
Knowledge required: Strong foundation in sea freight operations, pricing, and carrier negotiations.
Education required: College or University diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics a definite asset.
Skills required: Exceptional English communication skills both written and verbal. Exceptional customer service skills dealing with customers at a high level. Strong knowledge of supply chains and how they work. Strong computer skills.
