The primary responsibility of this role is to drive new account acquisition and gain revenue investment in the TravelAds program, Expedia Media Solution's sponsored listing product. You will present the power of Media Solutions to prospective partners, coach them through the end-to-end onboarding process, and provide strategic direction through proactive interactions.
What you'll doBe part of a commercial team that is responsible for generating revenue for Expedia Media Solutions TravelAds.Acquire new business by converting existing Expedia Group customers to the Media Solutions TravelAds platform.Develop strategic territory-specific strategies to reach quarterly targets.Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to create opportunities to generate sales leads and revenue.Develop relationships with customers or their account team, including key buyers/decision makers.Develop an understanding of customer's business goals through appropriate organizational channels.Recommend products, services, and insights that will meet customer needs.Complete basic account plans that outline tactics to acquire and/or maintain business.Acquire a basic understanding of how the department operates and fits into the larger organization.Guide accounts to valuable insights and present insights that can benefit account and organization.Gather data/information on potential ideas and solutions to address a business need.Exchange simple information in straightforward situations to gain the support of others.Proactively seek help from a manager when needed to address areas of difference and ensure agreements among all parties.Identify the key stakeholders in decision making for the account.Build a working knowledge of products, technologies, offerings, etc., within the scope of responsibility.Develop a broad understanding of competitors' standard products and services.Understand the importance of developing rapport and maintaining ongoing business relationships with colleagues and external customers.Develop a basic understanding of customer's industry and competitive market and/or use company's tools to access market-specific information and insight.Learn the metrics to assess the performance of products, services, and solutions against customer needs/expectations.Who you areBachelor's or equivalent experience.Proficiency in English and second language of either French, German, Spanish or Italian.Proficient communicator, predominantly on the phone.Time management and organization skills.Growing knowledge of sales techniques.Account management and/or sales experience preferred.Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.About Expedia Group
