Grenergy Renovables is a Spanish company created in 2007, an independent producer of energy from renewable sources, mainly wind and photovoltaic, which has been listed on the Continuous Market since 2019. Our business model covers all phases of the project, from development, going through the construction and financial structuring to the operation and maintenance of the plants. We currently have a strong presence in LATAM (Chile, Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia) as well as in Europe (Spain, Poland, Germany, Italy and UK) and USA.

Currently we are looking to hire a Structured Finance Analyst :

The Structured Finance team is responsible for structuring and executing the financing and potential sale of Grenergy's PV and wind projects in Europe and Latin America, as well as for providing the company with access to alternative and cheaper sources of funding in the markets where it operates. Based in Madrid, the Finance Analyst will participate in the financing/sale transactions in the Latam region and will support the local Business Development teams in the acquisition and/or development of projects by determining the optimal financing and exit strategies.

The Analyst will also be responsible for:
Establishing and maintaining solid long-term relationships with certain international and local investors and lenders.
Structuring innovative financial solutions involving Capital Markets.

The successful candidate must excel in a fast-paced, unstructured, entrepreneurial environment and be a proven performer in leading and closing complex deals. Specific experience requirements include:
At least 3 years experience in investment banking, project finance lending, financial advisory or capital structuring practices at financial sponsors/developers/infrastructure companies.
Experience negotiating the relevant transaction contracts (SPA, Financing Agreements, EPC, O&M, etc.) and conducting the usual due diligence processes.
Experience managing deal teams.
Experience closing equity and debt deals in the renewable energy sector (debt experience a must).
International/cross border deal experience or else experience working for a global company.

Requirements:
Master Degree required (Master in Finance preferred or Engineering Degree with MBA), ideally in Finance or other quantitative or technical field.
We are looking for curious, responsible, well organized, highly analytical, and self-driven individuals which thrive in new environments.
Team workers used to lead by example and willing to step both up and down if required to help a colleague or meet a deadline.
Specific qualifications include: (i) Thorough understanding of corporate finance and project finance, especially M&A processes and non-recourse financing structures & processes; (ii) English and Spanish language proficiency (both written and spoken); (iii) Strong communication skills with ability to effectively interface with sophisticated investors, customers, subordinates and senior management; (iv) Strong analytical skills, including extensive financial modeling experience required.
The ideal candidate will also have (i) Familiarity with the solar PV/Bess Projects industry, competition, and trends; (ii) Spanish/English fluent language proficiency; (iii) Connections with International renewable energy lenders and investors ideally.
