Business Contracts Managers are an integral component to the team, acting as subject matter experts in pre and post-award contract management. As a Sr. Business Contracts Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help develop the go-to-market strategy and deliver on our spend adoption plans with our Commercial, Public and Strategic customers. The ideal candidate possesses demonstrated contract and/or proposal management experience in the procurement and/or category management space, an ability to identify and drive global process improvements, and an eye for detail with a drive to follow-through. They will be able to solve business and technical requirements for our customers and partners, working with internal teams to quickly build the best proposal. Successful candidates will have outstanding communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
They will have an industry background that enables them to develop win themes and technical discriminators for inclusion into proposals and a contracts background that enables them to easily interact with the legal team. The ideal candidate will be able to support business contracts in German and English. This role can be located in the following Amazon Business locations: London (UK), Munich (Germany), Paris (France), Milan (Italy), Madrid (Spain), or Luxembourg (LUX).
Key Job ResponsibilitiesParticipate in and oversee group reviews of all customer contractual and purchase documents.Coordinate legal activities for contract/agreement negotiation and support the competitive bid process in reviewing RFPs and enabling contract compliance.Complete SOP Playbook to facilitate overall management of each signed contract.Review each proposed RFx to identify risks and assess compliance capabilities.Advise on contracting issues and approaches with respect to commercial terms and conditions as well as acquisition policy and regulations.Lead all contract implementation activities including notifying compliance stakeholders and facilitating reporting requirements and fee payments.Develop and launch Go-To-Market plan for each contract to educate Customer Advisors and leverage the contract as an engagement vehicle.
