Working within the Sales Department on Drives Division, the Account Manager develops, implements, and updates the account strategy for main Spanish EPC, that have their core business developing international projects in Water, Oil and Gas, Process Industries, Energy and Utilities Segments. Reporting to the Drives Sales Director, you will coordinate sales activities, creating added value for the customer and ABB, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities: Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent sales activity and advice and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions.
Defining sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across Drives Division in Spain.
Identifying customer needs and competitor offers, ensuring efficient marketing actions and communications demonstrate the value proposition of the products, systems, service and packages.
Leading Customer's Request of Proposal, presenting ABB Technical and Commercial offer, negotiating the contract and closing the deal with expected profitability.
Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Your background: An Engineering Degree, preferably Electrical or Industrial.
At least 3 years of experience in Sales, working as Salesperson with complex Accounts (End Users, Engineering, EPC) in the B2B environment.
Experience in Water/Process Industries/Power Generation will be well considered.
Demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy.
Knowledge and use of Salesforce for Pipeline Management and Customer follow-up.
A collaborative, solution and customer-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills, mindset and a professional "can-do" attitude.
Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management, commercial and legal terms.
Ownership and collaborative attitude are a must for the job.
Available to spend at least 50% of his time for visiting customers (F2F or virtually) concentrated mainly on Madrid Region.
English: medium level for oral and written communication.
Fluent Spanish is a must.
