Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill is seeking an enthusiastic Overnight Hotel All Rounder to bring their skills to our vibrant hotel. You will be the go-to person across Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Front Office, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and exceptional experience from the moment they walk in.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain and clean public areas of the hotelPrepare, cook, and deliver ordered meals/snacksEnsure guests are attended to promptly and efficiently in a professional manner and without delayProvide passionate and friendly service to external and internal guestsEnsure security policy and procedures are maintained and adhered toQualificationsThe desired candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Strong ability to provide exceptional service and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and positive attitudeEffective problem-solving skills and ability to multi-taskWillingness to work across different departments, taking on varied tasks and responsibilitiesFamiliarity with hotel management software (i.e., Opera)Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesHigh standards of cleanliness and organisationHold a valid QLD RSA (Response Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain oneFlexible availability to work overnight shifts including weekends with minimal supervision
