Outreach Project Manager

ICFO is a research center located in the Mediterranean Technology Park in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, currently hosting 400+ people, including researchers, PhD students, and staff personnel. Today, in its area of specialization and category, the institute is consistently ranked among the highest-quality research institutions worldwide.
The appointee will work at ICFO's KTT unit, mainly acting as Project Manager of a recently awarded Horizon Europe ambitious project in outreach aimed at boosting career opportunities for students in their undergraduate or master's studies as well as for early-career researchers within the 360 CARLA project. We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and inspirational individual with a multidisciplinary profile that integrates project management and outreach, along with a positive attitude. His/her main tasks will be:
Managing the communications channels of the project, especially social media, including the design and development of engaging content focused on photonics related sciences.Identifying, developing, executing, and/or coordinating internal and external activities within the projects to ensure that the work plan and milestones are properly fulfilled.Monitoring, reporting, and promoting the project results.Engaging with project stakeholders on a local and European level to secure their ongoing commitment.Organizing networking events and activities such as symposiums, workshops, and visits in the framework of the Horizon Europe project.Proactively coordinating and attending meetings aimed at strengthening links between ICFO and the project partners and stakeholders.Supporting and participating in the outreach activities organized by the team.Working as a part of the ICFO KTT team.
