As the SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic search visibility and website traffic in the UK market. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our SEO efforts align with overall marketing and business objectives.
In this role, you will lead content creation and on-page optimization efforts, ensuring high-quality, SEO-optimized content that resonates with target keywords and user intent. You will also spearhead our backlink strategy, fostering relationships with authoritative websites to improve domain authority and acquire high-quality backlinks. Staying at the forefront of industry trends, search engine algorithms, and emerging SEO practices, you will drive innovation and continuously improve our SEO performance.
What you will do
Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, encompassing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, to increase organic search visibility and drive website traffic. Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and target relevant search queries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SEO strategies with overall marketing and business objectives.
Marketing Effectiveness: Lead content creation efforts for blogs and websites, ensuring high-quality, SEO-optimized content that aligns with target keywords and user intent. Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and URL structure optimization. Optimize website content and architecture to improve crawlability, indexation, and user experience. Collaborate with content creators to provide SEO guidance and support.
Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, search engine algorithm changes, and emerging SEO practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. Explore and implement new SEO techniques, tools, and technologies to optimize organic search performance and drive continuous improvement.
People Management: Lead and manage the SEO team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging professional development and knowledge sharing. Set clear goals and objectives, ensuring team members are aligned with the overall SEO strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, design, and development, to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website projects and initiatives.
