The Role As the Information Security Manager, you will be a key contributor to the wefox Security Office, responsible for executing the Information Security strategy and maintaining operational engagement with key leaders within the IT, Tech and Business teams.
In your role, you will work very closely with the CISO as Information Security Governance and IT security shared service.
You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and support teams.
These relationships will enable you to assess business practices, identify gaps in security controls, and lead the development and execution of information security initiatives.
Additionally, you are expected to interact effectively and strategically with IT leadership, Tech Engineering teams, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal and Privacy.
You are also expected to understand and articulate business operational processes and risks while leveraging existing internal and external business and technology resources to provide program and project related insight.
Clear and concise oral and written communication are required.
Main Responsibilities Define and lead the implementation of the IT Security Shared Services (SOC, IAM, Endpoint Security, etc.)
across the group and drive their adoption.
Lead operational engagement and own supporting metrics for measuring Information Security maturity.
Support Information Security leadership in the identification and communication of relevant Information Security-related issues, risks, and events in the organization.
Track and coordinate Information Security involvement in business-driven technology projects.
Coordinate and advocate for wefox's security needs with Information Security architects, engineers, and analysts.
Keep abreast of Information Security trends, with an ability to articulate security-related themes and principles in business terms.
Drive the delivery of Information Security plans and implementation of leading practice controls, with an understanding of proactive defense principles and strategies.
Lead the business-engaged risk exercises to identify and measure risk and develop mitigation strategies.
Actively engage and support the security incident response team in resolution and close of investigations of incidents with ownership of post mortem and remediation plans.
What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education/professional experience in a similar role.
At least 5+ years of experience in the Information Security industry.
Experience in building global Information Security teams from scratch.
Experience in Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management and Cloud security.
Knowledge and experience in systems and network administration.
Experience implementing Information Security programs framework-based.
Expert in cybersecurity incident response handling.
Experience managing Information Technology and/or Information Security projects.
Experience with security operations and incident response/handling.
Experience leading advanced and complex projects and initiatives.
One or more technical security certifications is a plus: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Spanish and German are a plus.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
