A major focus of this role will be centred around OSS simplification and harmonisation with an ambition to modernise the current OSS environment.Plans, structures and leads complex technical OSS cross-functional projects in a multinational environment.Leads from a technical perspective cross-functional teams and ensures that the implemented solutions are delivered according to the expectations of the stakeholders.Managing (partially of fully) the phases of a project from the initiation, scope definition and delivery planning, continuing with the actual implementation, monitoring the performance and status of deliverables, to formal project closing.Who you areIf you think you are a fit, we are looking for you, these are the main requirements:Deep knowledge of telecommunications at European levelDeep knowledge of the most common architecture frameworks in the sectorStakeholders management and influencing skillsStrong cost and performance orientationGood knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), OSS Architecture (TMForum: Open Digital Architecture, eTOM) and ITIL FrameworkThe main tasks will be to:Support current OSS transformation initiatives through the definition of a transformation roadmap, by following the architectural blueprint and reviewing or creating the high/low level design documentsEnsure support for technical (specifications) alignment with the related verticals, both inside and outside of Group NetworksManage all the phases of OSS projects after the feasibility study was performed and the budget was approvedLead the analysis related to transformation projects, presents reports/statistics, identifies and evaluates key issues and comes with mitigation proposalsEvaluate the impact of the ongoing OSS projects on the operational processes, comes with proposals of integrating the impact by adjusting and optimizing the processes and procedures.Ensure the development of new methods and working processes according to the business needs of the end users.Conduct briefing sessions for relevant managers and key stakeholders in order to facilitate the decisional process.Work out partner and sourcing models to deliver the OSS transformation roadmap and initiate steering/escalation processes related to partner delivery activitiesEffective partner management by ensuring/monitoring that their delivery performance is according to VF quality standards in terms of reliability, testability and maintainabilityContribute to/validate the technical documentation (requirements, design and architecture, source code, testing documents) delivered by partners.Forecast based on demands related effort and requested partner capacity, also making sure that the requested demands are fitting within the planned budgetNot a perfect fit?Worried that you don't meet all the desired criteria exactly?
