Title: UABOS Spain: Maintenance Technician
Program Summary: KBR will sustain the operational well-being of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base (Spain), Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, and various facilities in Turkey. Our services encompass program management, civil engineering, morale and recreation support, postal operations, safety services, logistics, and more.
Job Summary: War Reserve Materiel (WRM) Repair Technician will maintain and perform 7-Level scheduled/unscheduled inspections on assigned Aerospace Ground Equipment as well as inspection, repairs, tests, and operates to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. Areas of specialization may include electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, NC repair, and machine tool rebuilding, mobile equipment, and electrical production equipment, positive displacement mud-motors, mud-operated pulsers, or downhole drilling tools. Using measuring instruments, diagnoses and makes general repairs to production equipment, determine replacement parts as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities: Accomplish all scheduled and unscheduled 7-Level maintenance inspections IAW all applicable directives.
Perform functional checks on all assigned Aerospace Ground Equipment (WRM) periodically IAW AFI 25-101 para 4.11.3.2, all applicable supplements, equipment TO's, and inspection work cards.
Conduct Daily-Use/In-Use equipment service inspections (SIs) prior to use, after servicing, or at minimum every 90 days for powered/non-powered equipment I.A.W service inspection work cards TO 35-1-256WC-1/35-1-246WC-1.
Perform 7-Level final Inspections to assure assets are ready for use.
Material & Equipment directly used: Electronic test equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency meters, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, electrical soldering tools, composite tools (general hand tools), technical orders, electronic publications (E-Tools), HAZMAT (proper storing, handling & disposal), operate equipment tugs and vehicles as needed, computers.
Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
4 years' experience in aircraft support equipment repair field.
Meet the qualifications of a 7-Level Technician.
Computer skills, Windows package, Excel.
Possess or have the capability to obtain a U.S. SECRET security clearance.
Current U.S. Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications: Possess an EPA refrigerant recovery certification.
Certified to Weld.
