Are you a natural leader with experience in OSHC, looking for a role that will allow you to take charge, drive enrolments and flex your communication skills? A service based in Tarneit is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 34 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Hours are as follows : Monday - Friday, 06:30 - 08:30 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:30 - 06:30 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus additional 4 hours admin time.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years.
You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the service
Based in Tarneit, this service is backed by a supportive and communicative school principal. You would be leading a team of 1 permanent Educator and 3 casuals. The team would nurture your leadership skills and ability to take initiative, with plenty of room to grow attendance, and your role along with it. They are also opening a sister school nearby which would provide opportunities for collaboration.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Leadership and communication skills.
Experience in the OSHC sector.
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children.
Australian work rights.
Holds or is currently studying an ACECQA approved Diploma-level qualification.
