Your tasks Together with your team, you will explore the path to customized IT solutions with a focus on microservices, develop, design and routinely use Spring / Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, REST, Maven, and Git in the Java and Java EE environment.
You will be involved end-to-end in the entire software development process, carefully supporting existing applications and accompanying new ones through to implementation in the distributed architectures.
You will develop the central database structures for maintaining and processing communication processes and create automated IT tests to ensure quality.
You will take a critical look at processes and applications and creatively exploit optimization potential.
Your profile Degree in computer science, business informatics or an equivalent qualification.
Several years of professional experience and relevant know-how in software engineering with Java (software development, software design, IT architecture, testing, documentation).
Experienced in working with Java, JEE, Spring / Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Maven and Git as well as IntelliJ.
Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, especially in the area of DevOps (Docker / Kubernetes, OpenShift, Elastic Search, Ansible, Microsoft Azure).
Ideally advanced know-how in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Enjoy agile software development according to Scrum / Kanban.
Creative, self-initiated, team player with logical and structured thinking, customer-oriented approach, and technical curiosity.
Communication skills in German and English.
