Position: Predoctoral FPI contract - Nanopartículas Farmacocinéticas VHIR offers a position for a Predoctoral researcher within DESIGN AND PHARMACOKINETICS OF NPs to participate in the project "NANOPARTÍCULAS DE CeO2 PARA LA REGULACIÓN METABÓLICA Y EL TRATAMIENTO DEL ESTRÉS OXIDATIVO Y ENFERMEDADES RELACIONADAS".
The group focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of engineered inorganic nanoparticles in medicine. By mastering the inorganic core (size, structure, and shape) and understanding and controlling the linking of molecules to the nanoparticle surface, we engineer nanoparticles that can interact with biological systems in a specific way. Emphasis is placed on safety, feasibility, scale-up, applicability, and other aspects of nanoparticle design.
This contract is part of the project PID2023-148967OB-C21, financed by CIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and the FSE+, linked to a Proyecto de Generación del Conocimiento 2023.
Job Description Education and qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Sciences/PhD/Master Chemistry or Biochemistry and Nanotechnology. Required: Inorganic Nanoparticles. Required: Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level). Desired: Specific/Additional Training in inflammation and metabolism. Experience and knowledge: Required: Knowledge on Molecular Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry. Required: Ability to produce Inorganic Nanoparticles. Desired: Experience in molecular biochemistry and cellular metabolism. Desired: Experience in nanotechnology and inorganic nanoparticles. Main responsibilities and duties: To follow up the PhD program associated with the experimental program of the funding project. Labour conditions: Full-time position: 40h/week. Starting date: according to the call, within the next four months. Contract duration: 4 years (FPI grant). Estimated annual gross salary (subject to change): 1st year: 18.180,41 €. 2nd year: 18.180,41 €. 3rd year: 19.479,01 €. 4th year: 24.348,77 €.
