Job Description Partner Growth and Agility - New Partners Associate - Preferred Languages: French, German, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Arabic or Nordic Languages Are you a driven salesperson, a real 'hunter', looking to make an impact at a ground-breaking tech company, powered by the world's largest online travel platform?
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our brand new 'New Partner Team' being set up in our Madrid office.
The Associate's primary responsibility is to assist in the set-up and onboarding of conventional lodging properties within their assigned territory.
You will help them maximize the production potential from their participation in the Expedia marketplace by smartly leveraging the power of Expedia Group's unique data insights.
Calling leads and educating Expedia's UVP to potential properties who have not worked with us will be the primary activity of this role.
This role is central to our account management mission of delivering exceptional travel experiences by bringing the power of the platform to life for our partners, both current and new.
This team ensures that our global customers always find the most suitable hotel for their dream trip wherever they want to go and that our hotel partners can effectively, efficiently and throughout the year, reach our full breadth of global traveller demand.
What you'll do: Execute on high-value conventional lodging leads from fresh leads and untouched opportunities within target markets as assigned by the distribution engine.
Build the portfolio of hotel partners by introducing prospective partners to Expedia and facilitating their onboarding process.
Educate partners on how to offer competitive hotel products (content, rates and availability) to be consistently optimized on the Expedia sites.
Advise partners on additional lodging rates and availability information regarding high demand and compression periods.
Employ active listening during conversations with potential partners to adapt responses to local market conditions and partner needs
