Operative Procurement Specialist

Experis is a global leader in providing personalized recruitment solutions and IT professionals and our client is looking for an Operative Procurement Specialist, and support their procurement operations from a nearshore location in Spain or Portugal . Location: Nearshore (Spain or Portugal)Department: ProcurementSeniority Level: S1/S2 Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement operations for an annual spend of up to €250 million . Handle 400 suppliers , including 140 tail suppliers for indirect categories such as agencies, software, and facility management . Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and partnerships. Utilize SAP Ariba to streamline and manage the Procure-to-Pay process. Ensure compliance and efficiency in procurement operations within a global financial services environment (FS Experience preferred) . Key Qualifications: Experience in operative procurement , especially within indirect spend categories. Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Proficiency in SAP Ariba and understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes. Fluency in English (written and spoken).
