Operations Supervisor | Ny-539

Purpose of the Position: To assure operational excellence and accurate disbursement accounts.
Main Responsibilities:
Analysis of transit requirements to assure timely transit of vessels. Under closer than normal supervision, you will be expected to recommend transit booking actions that, if done incorrectly, would cost the customer several days of delays.
Coordinating final Operation Details (ETA's, Dimensions of deliveries, Bunker Stems, Crew Changes, Transit requirements, etc.) for all vessels under GAC Panama under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
Review and approve invoices and Disbursement accounts to authorize payment for services rendered.
Update the Accounting and Operational Software (GAC DOLPHIN and GAC AGENT) with data entry to assure accuracy and precision in the reports.
Responsible for complying with strict KPIs in quality, quantity, and timeliness of the work.
The bulk of the work is performed in English, and the regular inquiries and teleconferences are also in English. Complete bilingual ability (English and Spanish) is required.

Minimum Requirements:
Full knowledge of Panama Canal regulations.
Full Bilingual - English and Spanish ability.
Ability to work under pressure and remain in control.
