About us Hello! We are Samara, the solar installation startup that goes beyond self-consumption. We are here to accelerate the energy transition of households towards a more efficient, smarter and more sustainable model.
We are a high-growth startup that, above all, prioritizes people and the planet. We've just raised a €9 million financing round led by technology and sustainability-focused european funds. This capital increase will help us to continue our growth path and develop new products and services, so our team is constantly growing. We are now looking to expand our Operations team.
In line with our values, at Samara we firmly believe that the climate crisis is the biggest challenge facing our generation. Housing, in particular, is one of the main sources of carbon emissions in developed countries. We are optimistic by nature and think it is possible to do things differently: one that combines electrification, distributed generation, energy storage and software that enables more efficient energy management.

What are you going to do? You will be part of the initial Operations team, and you will lead our operations to ensure smooth installations with our partners. These will be some of your duties:
Creating, optimising and automating processes – efficiency is our top priority
Manage our day-to-day relationship with suppliers: lead negotiations and monitor their performance
Coordinate the development of an inventory management system with Tech and Operations teams
Analyse data: define KPIs and stock security levels and take actions based on them
Define Samara's short and long-term procurement strategy
Customer experience is out top priority. Take action to ensure 0 installations are delayed from procurement faults.

What do you need. ? You adapt easily: you feel like a fish in water working in a fast-paced environment and you manage uncertainty well.
You are flexible: startups always require iterations. We will make mistakes, but we learn quickly from them.
Organization: you are an organized person, with a high ability to collaborate and pay attention to detail.
Problem solving: you are able to tackle challenges you have not seen before and independently research how to solve them
Accountability: you enjoy making an opportunity your own and pursue it to completion
You put people first: you are in line with Samara's cultural values and put people first.
Experience: we highly value previous operations and procurement experience, but not necessarily within the energy sector. We will be happy to tailor your onboarding according to your previous knowledge of the sector.
Language: Fluency in Spanish and English
