About you We're currently looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to coordinate and lead our teams behind the development of a cutting-edge software project in collaboration with one of our major clients.
As an Operations Manager, you will be taking responsibility for resource management and supervision for our quality engineering team, acting as a key player in qualifying a market-leading AI-based Software Product used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
In this role you will be expected to: Lead Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business goals. Anticipate and plan for future operational needs and challenges. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process improvement and business growth. Must be a fixer: A person who can see multiple solutions to one problem with ease and always pick the one more beneficial to the company and the client, without affecting the quality of the deliverables or the care for its team and people. Develop and Manage People Lead, mentor, and develop a large high-performing operations team. Attract, develop, engage and retain top talent. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports employee well-being. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback, using data-driven feedback and KPIs. Demonstrate excellence in Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. Effectively handle difficult stakeholders and resolve conflicts with diplomacy and tact. Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Deliver Operational Excellence Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, optimization and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve operational processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Problem Solve & Make Good Decisions Apply first principles thinking to deconstruct and solve complex problems. This is for you if you have: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical operations management role. Sound experience and knowledge in Software Development environments and knowledge of Quality Assurance Engineering. Experience with client-server environments. Proven track record of strategic thinking and effective planning. Strong leadership and people management skills including attracting, engaging and retaining talent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and manage complex stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of current industry standards and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to grow a business and identify opportunities in difficult situations. Strong problem-solving skills with a first principles approach. Positive attitude, high emotional intelligence and resilience in the face of challenges. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish are required; both spoken and written form.
