Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Pinnacle Travel Group (PTG) is seeking the services of a full-time suitably skilled Operations Manager to join our team in Malaga.

The Role: Predominantly based in our office in Malaga, the successful applicant will be an incredible people person and take a 'hands-on' approach to lead our Operations Team, focusing on our land-based transport.
You will be a natural at problem-solving, streamlining our processes for scheduling, fleet management, planning & employee coordination to facilitate the smooth operation of our growing travel & tourism demands.
This role demands a positive leader with a strong focus on our people, safety, optimum service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: Duty of care responsibility in relation to Health, Safety, Environment & Quality.
Managing the Operations Team to ensure operational excellence in our aim to deliver the experience you come back for.
Ensuring that all operational procedures are carried out in accordance with company standards and with the Department of Transport Omnibus Operator Standards Scheme.
Overall responsibility for positively leading and motivating the Operations department including Operations Schedulers, Operations Coordinator/s and driving personnel.
Actively encourage a supportive, positive & healthy work culture throughout the business.
Oversees the allocation of work in Coach Manager, ensuring a quality check is undertaken to ensure all work complies with company requirements.
Operational Management of service contracts including production and review of required documentation and audits.
Liaising with the Department of Transport in relation to regulatory licensing requirements and PTD's.
Overall responsibility for ensuring all work is covered in the best manner.
Reporting and processing records of accidents, complaints, damage controls and insurance claims (vehicles related).
Ongoing training and mentoring our dedicated team.
Identification of any opportunities or initiatives that will enhance the customer experience and add value to the business.
Ensure vehicle allocation is maximized and resources achieve maximum utilization.
Subcontractor Management.
Supporting all areas of the Pinnacle Travel Group as required, including but not limited to, Rottnest Island Operations, Lancelin 4WD & Integrity Coachlines.
Responsible for ensuring the depot grounds are well maintained and presentable at all times.
Ensuring all operational procedures and policies are adhered to and new policies are implemented and communicated to all relevant staff.
Working closely with the Workshop Manager & Cleaning Contractors to ensure the fleet is presentable and well maintained.
Skills: Proven record of managing, leading and mentoring teams to deliver results.
Natural ability to review departmental processes and implement change to increase efficiencies.
Travel or Transport industry experience desirable but not compulsory; however, previous operational management experience on a small to medium level is required.
Understanding of fleet management.
Prior experience using Vehicle Management System (VMS) & Coach Manager or similar programs.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly, flexible and adaptable personality.
Software Knowledge Requirements: Intermediate to advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of, or the ability to learn Coach Manager, VMS & Customlink.
