MISSION Nagra Sports is an OTT streaming & monetization platform, that enables Sports Federations worldwide to build a direct-to-consumer service leveraging all the benefits of today's technologies for interactive, live, streaming and e-commerce.
As Sports Operations Manager, you will be leading and coordinating the operations to assure that Nagra Sports service is performant and bringing high-quality to our customers and end-users. You will work with different internal stakeholders PLM, Dev, Ops but as well with customers and Sports Federations, broadcasters, and various 3 rd parties.
Operations Manager RESPONSIBILITIES
You will set-up and coordinate all the activities required to cover a new competition: from forecast to schedule/metadata/video ingestion and any other updates required on Nagra Sports platform.
You will work closely with Ops to anticipate potential issues or delays, and define right actions plan, so to minimize any impact on the quality of service to our customers. This includes a constant improvement of our service monitoring so to detect anomaly before it had any impact to our customers.
With a continuous improvement mindset, you will identify and push for enhancements across the various stakeholders and work closely with PLM and Dev to enable new features on the platform.
You will be accountable, setting and tracking the appropriate KPIs to track the evolution and scalability of Nagra Sports operations: quality of service evolution, costs evolution, customers feedback, end-users feedback…
PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS
What is the background we would love to find?
3+ years' experience as Program Manager, Operations Manager, Product Owner or Scrum Master
Engineering degree in computer science, telecommunication, or related field
Knowledge of video broadcasting operations, streaming technologies and/or Android/IOS/Web technologies
Working knowledge of Agile, continuous integration/delivery processes and DevOps.
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence software & basic knowledge of AWS Public Cloud would be valuable.
Do you have the skills?
Proven track record in program or operations management in the entertainment, Apps and/or streaming industry
Strong leader in a fast moving, international and multi-cultural business environment.
Effective communication, written and oral, with various stakeholders.
Good oral and written English skills is a must.
Fast learner, motivated, autonomous, methodical, and proactive.
Data analysis skills
