Operations & Event Management Director | Co-Founder (Spain based) NGO Title: Events & Operations Manager and Co-Founder (English, Spanish both should be fluent) Location: Spain (Fully Remote with occasional travel)
This isn't a traditional employment opportunity.
Instead, we're seeking an entrepreneurial and organized leader to co-found and shape Mental Growth Network's future.
At this early stage, compensation will be equity-based only, reflecting our shared commitment to building a transformative and sustainable organization from the ground up.
About MGN: Mental Growth Network (MGN) is a newly formed NGO startup on a mission to improve global healthcare outcomes by fostering communication, education, and community-driven innovation—especially in mental health, healthtech, and biotech sectors.
Through events, conferences, and media platforms, we connect thought leaders, practitioners, and innovators to spark dialogue and shared learning.
With a growing professional community of over 400 members, MGN is already making waves in the health innovation sector.
We're now seeking a dedicated Events & Operations Manager and Co-Founder to help operationalize our vision and expand our impact across Spain and beyond.
Key Responsibilities: Events Management: Plan, organize, and execute events, including health hackathons, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops. Manage event logistics, budgets, and stakeholder coordination to ensure seamless execution. Innovate new event formats to enhance engagement and drive meaningful connections. Operational Leadership: Build and streamline internal processes to improve organizational efficiency. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with MGN's mission and strategic goals. Coordinate across teams to ensure smooth collaboration on initiatives, events, and content. Strategic Vision: Collaborate with Co-Founders to shape and implement MGN's long-term strategy. Drive operational planning to support the growth of MGN's programs and initiatives. Community Engagement: Serve as the face of MGN at events, fostering relationships with partners, attendees, and stakeholders. Build a thriving community by engaging with members and creating value through events and initiatives. What We're Looking For: Event Management Expertise: Proven experience planning and managing events (virtual and in-person), ideally in NGOs, startups, or innovation-focused organizations. Operational Leadership Skills: Strong ability to build processes, manage teams, and oversee day-to-day activities. Entrepreneurial Drive: Passionate about creating something meaningful from the ground up, with a focus on impact over immediate returns. Strategic Thinker: Ability to align daily operations with long-term organizational goals. Excellent Communication Skills: Skilled in engaging stakeholders and representing an organization with clarity and professionalism. Why Join MGN as Co-Founder? Shape an Emerging NGO: Be a key part of an organization transforming health innovation. Mission-Driven Impact: Organize impactful events and initiatives that inspire and connect global innovators. Flexible & Remote: Work fully remote from Spain with opportunities to travel and connect across the region. Equity & Financial Growth: Receive meaningful equity reflecting your contribution.
As MGN grows and secures funding, transition into a market-aligned, stable salary. How to Apply: If you're Spain-based, experienced in event management, and driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, we'd love to hear from you.
Please send your CV and a brief cover letter explaining your background, your vision for MGN, and why our mission resonates with you.
