Operations Coordinator

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the success of Operations for the assigned region, destination(s) or programs in the Rest of the World.
This is a key role in the successful production of our tours in assigned regions.
She or he works closely with operational targets and budgets.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates leadership, knowledge, skills and ability in travel-related Operations.
Participates in the overall planning, development and success of our tours in assigned region or destination(s).
Takes all necessary and approved actions to achieve both short and long-term goals and objectives.Cooperates with Management of Contracting and Operations and facilitates administration works.Helps negotiate and contract competitive rates with suppliers.Executes back office processes, including reservations and invoice processing.Supports DMCs and Tour Directors with logistical matters when tours are running.Helps create the budget and assumes responsibility for budget management and overall costs.Drives Product Development and liaises with the Product Development Manager in suggesting and implementing new product ideas.Works with Product Management to ensure fast replies and quality control.Helps develop new initiatives and drive cost savings.Develops and maintains supplier relationships.Provides information and support to Tour Directors when programs are traveling on the road.
Works closely with Tour Directors and overseas partners to problem solve on-tour issues as they arise.Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
