They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations and Communications Manager to support the leadership team, focusing on strategic operations, communications and investor relations.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills.
This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless internal and external communications, managing investor relations, and supporting the executive team in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: Investor and Pharma Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors and stakeholders.
Organize and coordinate investor meetings, presentations, and conference calls.
Prepare investor materials, including quarterly reports, presentations, and financial summaries including quarterly board meeting materials.
Maintain and update the investor and pharma contact database, ensuring accurate and timely information.
Communications Support: Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and corporate announcements.
Coordinate with the team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Manage and update content on the company website and social media channels.
Executive Support: Support the Executive Assistant in the management of the executive team's calendars, meeting scheduling and travel coordination in relation to fundraising activities and investor relations activities.
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Event Coordination: Work with the EA to plan and execute company events, including investor days, conferences, and internal meetings.
Work with the EA to coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and travel arrangements for participants.
Administrative Duties: Maintain organized records and filing systems.
Be responsible for the setup and maintenance of the data room.
Assist with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the executive team.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations or a related role, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry .
Proven experience in communications and investor relations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or Catalan is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems and other commonly used software
