We are seeking an Operational Excellence Planner to join our team in Barcelona. The Operational Excellence Planner is responsible for supporting the design and execution of the roadmap towards Supply Chain Excellence, aligned with the company's vision. The Operational Excellence Planner must be agile, innovative, and propose solutions to enable people and processes to work more efficiently (easier, faster, better). The role will directly influence the company's ability to improve overall operations efficiencies to achieve supply chain and overall business performance goals.
What's in it For You: Opportunity for a long-term career path that allows for exposure into all areas of Ecolab's supply chainAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technologyThrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and has been recognized as one of the most ethical companies in the worldThe main responsibilities include: Project Management Office (PMO)Support the implementation of the PMO strategy, aligning with the organization's goals and visionProvide Planning expertise to design, test, implement and scale improvement projects to optimize end to end Supply ChainReinforce project management standards, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency across projectsTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs), scope, timelines and metrics to measure PMO performance and project successSupport on Continuous Improvement projects and lead initiatives to bring to fruitionProcess OptimizationProvide adhoc support to Planning team on transversal strategic projectDrive lean culture, standardize best practices and processes and facilitate activities to enhance continuous improvement and innovationIdentify process bottlenecks and constraints and provide improvement initiativesCollaboration and Stakeholder ManagementSupport communication to the wider business and inspire the adoption of changes into business processes and systemsThe ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field of studyAt least 3 years' experience, preferred in CPG, FMCG Supply Chain improvement or consultingHigh level of experience in Supply Planning, processes, planning tools (SAP ECC, APO)Analytical abilities, capable of manipulating data and quickly interpret results, communicating recommendationsGood problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations. Problem solving abilities combined with creativity suitable for handling highly complex issuesAbility to provide innovative thinking to cross-functional teamsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated experience in implementing change of new process and/or toolStrong desire to challenge and improve status-quoAbility to work in an international matrixed environmentManage multiple priorities simultaneously while driving projects to completionFluency in written and spoken EnglishEcolab's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) reflects our longstanding value of working together to integrate diverse perspectives to challenge ourselves, reach our goals and do what's right.
