Unlocking the full potential of life. Job PurposeThe plant OpEx Manager is responsible for leading the deployment of operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site.
This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the highest levels of quality and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, lean management, and Six Sigma methodologies.
The incumbent will report to the Head of Group Pharma Manufacturing Operational Excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and regulatory requirements.Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and other departments to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.Facilitate training and development programs to build operational excellence capabilities among site personnel.Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and the impact of implemented changes.Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental guidelines.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence throughout the site.Participate in cross-site initiatives to share best practices and leverage operational excellence across the organization.Required EducationBachelor's degree in engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.
Master's degree or MBA preferred.Certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent is highly desirable.Required Skills And ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (mandatory), with a proven track record in operational excellence and continuous improvement.Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (solid, semi-solid, and liquid), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.Required Behaviours And CompetenciesThe position may involve direct exposure to manufacturing environments, requiring adherence to safety and quality protocols.Required LanguagesFluent English
