Job Description- Apply makeup to individuals, ensuring they have the desired look for the production.- Engage in consultations with staff to understand their skin types and identify the best applications for the camera.- Offer expert advice and recommendations.- Occasionally assist in hairstyling that complements the makeup and overall look.- Ensure all makeup tools and products are clean, sanitized, and in proper condition to maintain high hygiene standards.- For camera and theatrical productions, knowledge of special effects makeup to transform actors is a bonus, helping to bring characters to life.- Understand lighting and camera requirements, being aware of lighting conditions and how it may affect the makeup appearance on camera.- Work efficiently within specified timeframes, especially in fast-paced environments like between shows.- Keep up-to-date with the latest makeup techniques, trends, and products through research, ongoing education, and professional development.- Maintain open communication with different stakeholders to ensure their needs and preferences are met, and make adjustments as necessary.- Work closely with photographers, hairdressers, and other team members to achieve a cohesive overall look for our Game Show Hosts, also during photoshoots.- Address any makeup-related issues or challenges that may arise during the application process, and find suitable solutions along the way.- Be versatile and able to create various makeup looks, from natural and subtle to bold and dramatic, depending on the show's requirements.- Collaborate with the production team to understand the desired makeup looks for our Game Show Hosts.- Maintain professionalism, respect, and a positive attitude while working with staff and team members.- Be highly organized, keeping track of makeup products, tools, and schedules to ensure a smooth and efficient makeup application process.- Create makeup charts or face charts to document the makeup look for future reference or continuity purposes.- Offer makeup tips and advice to our staff to help them recreate the look or maintain their makeup after the session and during their shift, as well as proper makeup removal and skincare practices for them to maintain their skin's health.- Meticulously organize and maintain our inventory, ensuring that all presenters have the proper, well-fitted uniforms for their roles.- Collaborate and adapt to different preferences and themes accordingly.- Maintain high standards of quality control for all makeup and wardrobe aspects.- Ensure that presenters look polished, confident, and ready for the camera.- Stay up-to-date with the latest makeup and hairstyling techniques and trends.Responsibilities- Makeup and styling- Uniform inventory- Stakeholders' customer service- Time ManagementQualifications- Already in possession of a valid working permit for the EU.- Fluent in both written and spoken English.- Proven experience as a professional makeup stylist, with a focus on stage and camera-facing roles.- Strong skills in makeup application and hairstyling, including an understanding of lighting and camera requirements.- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and track inventory effectively.- Strong attention to detail and an eye for perfection in appearance.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, live broadcast environment and meet tight deadlines.- Flexibility in working hours, as some broadcasts may occur outside of regular office hours.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.- A positive attitude, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional work.Other InformationAbout us: RAW is a new studio with a conviction to create something that stands out in the sea of sameness.
