Las Palmas de Gran CanariaThis contract is related to specific work and services to be developed by the ULPGC in the context of the TWINNEDBYSTARS project.Type of contract: Indefinite-term contract for scientific-technical activities, based on article 23 bis of Law 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science, Technology and Innovation, and other regulatory regulations.Purpose: To carry out activities related to the TWINNEDBYSTARS project, which is linked to the research line called Tourism, Sustainable Development and Cooperation of the ULPGC, developed under grant agreement nº 101124900, signed on 10/08/2023 with the European Commission, with an estimated completion date of 30/09/2026.Incorporation: Planned for May 2024.Staff status: The recruited staff through this call is not considered permanent staff under any circumstances.
The employment contract does not imply any commitment for subsequent incorporation into the staff of these entities.Contract termination: The contract may be terminated for reasons provided in Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23 October, with special attention to letter e) of article 52: insufficiency of financial allocation for maintaining the employment contract.Dedication: 20 hours per week, with exclusive dedication to the project being essential.Remuneration: The gross monthly remuneration will amount to 985.37 €/month (including the proportional part of the special payments).Place of work: ULPGC's Instituto Universitario de Turismo y Desarrollo Económico Sostenible de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (C/ Saulo Torón, 4, 35017 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmas).Trial period: A six-month trial period will be established during which the employment relationship may be terminated at the request of either party.
Situations of temporary incapacity, maternity, and adoption or fostering affecting the worker during the trial period will interrupt the calculation of the trial period.
