Offer DescriptionThe Science and Technology Park Foundation (FCPCT) of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) - Spain offers project support position (TCP3) to work in the EU EXPER project.The Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer of the ULPGC will act as Project Coordinator and will lead some of the main Work Packages, such as WP1 on needs assessment; WP2 on co-design of the EXPER strategy and action plans; WP6 on Sustainability; and WP8 on Management and Coordination.The ULPGC has undertaken a modernisation process in recent years to gain in attractiveness and research excellence, notably improving its participation in projects within the RDI Framework Programme during H2020.The EXPER project ("Excellent peripheries for a strong European Research Area"), funded by the Horizon Europe Programme, aims to improve and enhance the research and innovation capacities of the universities participating in the project, as well as to strengthen their role as a driving force for the economic and social transformation of their territories.The University will recruit the best candidate following the recommendations of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

Selection and hiring procedures will follow transparent mechanisms according to national and regional legislation.RequirementsResearch Field: AllEducation Level: Master Degree or equivalentSkills/QualificationsThe work and responsibilities of the technician will include the following research topics:Administrative and technical support for the project.Organization of regular meetings related to the project.Communication and coordination tasks between the partners of the consortium.Communication tasks and maintain regular contact with the European Commission.Communication and coordination tasks with the ULPGC and FCPCT team linked to the project.Updating and administration of the documentation and deliverables generated in the project.Invoicing tasks (accounting of the project, administrative tasks, invoicing) and supervision of the budgetary and accounting management of the project.Translation tasks related to the project.Preparation of the technical progress reports and deliverables for the EU.Preparation of the financial reports of the project in accordance with EC financial rules.Technical and administrative support to the European Projects Office of the FCPCT and/or the Vice-rectorate for Research and Transfer.Specific RequirementsCandidates must comply with the following conditions:Nationality: Spanish nationality or that of one of the other member states of the European Union.Be over eighteen.Degrees: To be in possession of a Master's degree or equivalent (MECES 3).Languages: Minimum English level equivalent to B2 of the CEFR.Professional experience: at least 6 months professional experience in management of RD projects, consultancy or technical assistance in RD projects financed by the European Commission.BenefitsThis contract is related to specific work and services to be developed by the ULPGC in the context of the EXPER project.Type of contract: Indefinite-term contract for scientific-technical activities.The purpose of this contract is to carry out activities related to the EXPER project.Incorporation planned for September 2024.The gross monthly remuneration will amount to 1,599.22 €/month.The place of work will be at the Scientific and Technological Park of the ULPGC, located in Tafira (35017) Canary Islands, Spain.Selection processThe full job description and the eligibility criteria are available at: (Link to job details) #J-18808-Ljbffr
