Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience): PhD in Demography, Sociology or related disciplines by the time the call closesMedium-high quantitative skills (good knowledge of statistical software like R)Proficiency in EnglishHigh quality research and communication skillsAbility to pose relevant research questions, summarize existing research and produce high-quality research outputs that have an impact on the field of family demography and sociologyCompetencies in managing and understanding individual and household level microdataAbility and commitment to work both individually and cooperatively with other CORESIDENCE team membersIn the motivation letter, the Post-doc is invited to develop research objectives related to the project's proposal (you can find the PDF in the CORESIDENCE website: CORESIDENCE website). All candidates are expected to provide evidence (including examples) showing how they meet the selection criteria for the position. This may include describing how relevant skills, abilities, experience and knowledge enable them to develop the job effectively.
Salary range: (commensurate with candidate's experience and fit with the position): 32,000-42,000 € (Gross annual)

Selection process: The selection procedure will consist of at least two stages. First, the selection committee will review and evaluate all applications. Second, short-listed candidates will be invited to a personal interview. This may include a short-written exercise regarding the interpretation of some data or an analysis of an academic paper.
