Job DescriptionAs PMO Manager, you will support the execution & change activities of all Global Asset Productivity Transformation Initiatives by navigating the complexity of intersecting workstreams, multiple stakeholders and complicated data dependencies to effectively capture the value.
Key Accountabilities:Stakeholder engagement, change management & communication:
Ensure stakeholders are identified, engaged, and supported effectively through the changes driven by the portfolio.
- Ensure early alignment between regions and delivery leads, creating a clear connection between the value pools, use cases and plans for execution and value capture.
- Bring impacted stakeholders on the change journey to ensure the well-executed portfolio delivers the desired business outcomes.
- Lead on any issue resolution required across the portfolio.
- Act as a key point of contact for external collaboration with customers, consultants, and other stakeholders (as appropriate).
- Identify maturity gaps and provide best practice coaching/training across the programme.Support delivery across digital initiatives:
Play a crucial role in ensuring the potential value is realised by supporting value pool owners, innovation squads and value capture teams in the delivery of their initiatives.
- Help to drive speed and agility in decision making, identifying areas to eliminate duplicative work, remove barriers to progress, and accelerate stronger integration across business units and functions.
- Partner with other PMO & Change Leads to ensure local teams are equipped for deployment of use cases and have the necessary support in place to drive value capture.
- Provide hands-on delivery support within specific projects, as required.Portfolio planning & governance:
Ensure the appropriate governance is in place to support the execution and value capture of the portfolio, driving resource optimisation and alignment across all initiatives.
- Collaborate with Brambles' Transformation Office to outline, design and embed consistent programme governance standards and methodology, ensuring a standard of rigour is in place across all initiatives.
- Support the requirements gathering and development of the overall programme business case and supporting initiative business cases.
- Work with initiative owners on the planning and prioritization of individual initiatives (including scheduling, work plans, resourcing).
- Drive focus and ensure activities are being managed to plan and budget.
- Manage dependencies, risk/issues and coordinate corrective actions.Tracking and reporting value capture:
Provide project portfolio reporting capabilities, tracking overall performance, value capture and benefits realisation.
- Support the development of programme financials and measurement to plan.
- Track costs and benefits for individual initiatives.
- Work with business stakeholders to track and report on value capture.
- Own reporting, communications and updates to ELT sponsors and senior stakeholders.What we look for:Project Management certification preferred.Experience working on large-scale, complex, global change/transformation programmes, in either a consulting or PMO capacity.Experience working across large-scale initiatives, bringing different stakeholder groups together to deliver value.3 years' experience delivering projects using agile methodologies and/or working closely with a portfolio of agile projects in a PMO capacity.Experience working within a bi-model delivery environment (i.e. both waterfall and agile methodologies).Demonstrable experience coaching others in project management best practices, either formally or informally.Experience in diverse multi-cultural, matrix corporate cultures.Experience with Change Management and cultural change.Skills and Knowledge:Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with both technical and business stakeholders.End results-driven entrepreneurial mindset.Strong experience using MS Project Online or equivalent PPM tools, ideally as a project manager.
