OM Testing Lead en Madrid. Hays Services is collaborating with a global innovator and supplier of low-carbon and alternative-fuelled powertrains. We are looking for an OM Testing Lead who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the software testing lifecycle.You will lead a team of testers, develop testing strategies, and ensure that all software products meet the highest quality standards.Which are the functions?Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines.Define the scope and objectives of testing activities ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are covered.Identify testing tools and technologies to be used in the project and ensure their effective implementation.Lead and manage a team of testers providing guidance, support, and mentorship.Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project requirements.Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Oversee the execution of test cases ensuring thorough testing of software applications.Monitor and track testing progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and taking corrective actions as necessary.Ensure that defects are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities including test plans, test cases, and test results.Prepare and deliver regular status reports to project stakeholders highlighting key findings and risks.Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of testing best practices.Work closely with business, IT, and project management teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment.Engage with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and address any concerns.Facilitate communication between testing teams and other project teams to ensure seamless integration.Which are the requirements?English is the program language (oral, written); Spanish is a plus.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.Experience with various testing types (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, etc.).Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., JIRA) and test automation frameworks.Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams.Strong project management skills including planning, execution, and monitoring.Ability to mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Excellent analytical skills to identify issues and determine their root causes.Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve testing-related challenges.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.What we Offer?Competitive Salary, Permanent contract, Stable Project, Hybrid mode (Alcobendas), Office hours.We are waiting for profiles like yours, passionate about technology and who want to face a new challenge.
