Role Overview: Within a rapidly growing group, Energy Pool is recruiting a Chief Development Officer to ensure the development of the company in Spain.
Your objectives will be to develop activities both in scale and profitability with a team that you will recruit and manage.
You will request the necessary assistance from Energy Pool support teams.
Key Responsibilities: Develop a portfolio of prospects/customers based on Energy Pool's existing offers in Europe.
Define new Energy Management offers adapted to the Spanish market.
Monitor regulatory developments relating to access to the demand-side flexibility market by independent aggregators.
Lobby the regulator CNMC and the transmission operator REE independently and/or in coordination with local trade associations.
Explore local strategic partnerships to accelerate development.
Qualifications: Indispensable: - You come from an engineering or business school with a strong appetite for technical/complex and commercial subjects.
- You have a significant financial culture.
- You have at least 10 years of experience in a management role within a fast-growing SME/ETI.
- You are bilingual in Spanish and have a professional level of English and French (C1).
Ideally: - You have experience in the energy sector and the decarbonization of processes.
- You know the major energy players as well as the stakeholders (political, regulatory, etc.).
Mobility: Travel will be frequent.
