What the role entailsSome of the key responsibilities of our Test Automation QA Engineer will be:
Team member role that requires general supervisionReviews software requirements and specificationsConducts system analysis and creates documentation when necessaryReports, records (using a specific quality management system like Jira), and monitors defectsHelps troubleshoot issues and retest bugsProvides daily reporting and communication of work doneCollaborates with other team members or members on other sites when neededKeeps up-to-date on the latest advances in the test communityUpdates test cases to uncover more bugs and/or to align and comply with supported jurisdictional requirementsChecks that the game is compatible with supported software and hardwareCollates and manages internal or external feedbackAssists Product Team and Scrum Masters in collating and managing internal or external feedbackAdvocates best QA practicesCreates automated tests based on requirementsMaintains the automation pipelineSupports game production teams in setting up debugging automationMentors team members and manual QA regarding automation, facilitating best practicesParticipates in daily meetings, plannings, and groomings, providing ideas of possible improvementsAutomates processes by creating toolsImplements features in the automation frameworkFor you, this is more than a Test Automation QA Engineer role in game development. What we ask of youBasic understanding of QA principlesAt least 2 years of experience in programming, preferably C#Team player with good communication skillsSolid problem-solving skillsApart from the required skills:
