We are a flexible and fast adapting team currently working remotely most of the time using all kinds of communication tools.Mission and Responsibilities:The Technical Product Owner leads and owns the development and performance of a specific IT product throughout its entire lifecycle: analysis, monitoring, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement.Direct development squad teams, support the creation of user stories in line with business product owner peers, coordinate testing activities, and approve release plans.Responsible for compliance and adherence to optimum technical quality performance standards within the IT products they manage.Lead the translation of finance and accounting user stories into detailed technical requirements and technical tasks to feed developer squad teams, providing a systems perspective and identifying impacts and dependencies.Ensure the applicable definition of ready / definition of done requirements are documented accordingly.Support stakeholders to prioritize user stories and take responsibility for incidents/defects coming from L0/L1/L2 IT Operation group and tickets requiring L3 support (based on criticality and customer impact).Support development squad teams to rebalance effort between user story development and defect/ticket resolution daily.Facilitate critical dependencies management within the IT product and across products.Support the development and execution of acceptance tests based on acceptance criteria, coordinating all test activities and ensuring that each story meets acceptance criteria.Continuously update the delivery team in case of business changes, in coordination with Business Product Owners and other peer Technical Product Owners.Approve the final release plan in accordance with agreed priorities and dependencies, in collaboration with the Release Manager.Analyze and report delivery, progress, risks, and opportunities.Ensure that technical debt is properly managed, with the support of SW Technical leads.To be successful in the role you must have:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or Finance degrees enriched with technical knowledge.3 or more years of hands-on experience implementing IT banking projects, particularly Corebanking, Accounting Systems, or Account Payable/Receivable solutions, and 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology.Experience in banking transformation projects working under agile methodologies.Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs in relation to Accounting and Financials.Strong decision-making capabilities, with the ability to weigh-in relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one.Relevant technical knowledge.Committed to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient IT service within their IT product domain.Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understandable, authoritative, and actionable manner.Ability to successfully lead, manage, and motivate large, diverse, and complex development teams.Strong organization, prioritization, and rationalization skills.Demonstrable knowledge of Data Query Languages (SQL, Presto).Experience with AWS, SAP, or Temenos Transact will be highly valued.High level of English and Spanish required.What do we offer?Joining a dynamic and agile company undergoing international expansion.Working in start-up mode with the support of the Santander Group.Competitive remuneration and attractive benefits package.Possibility of growth within the company and the Group.Collaborating on international projects in different countries.Excellent work environment, social clubs, and frequent events (virtual at present).Would you like to grow with us?
