Overview of role
Owing to continued growth and high demand for our services, we are looking for an Offshore Wind Project Manager, specialised in foundations and floating platforms design, to join our global energy team in one of our offices in Europe. As Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of offshore wind consultancy projects (owner's engineering, due diligence, and lender's technical advisory) for clients worldwide, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with zero errors. This includes coordination of internal and external resources, deliverable review and acceptance, budget and time adherence, client liaison, and internal reporting on offshore wind projects. The role will also involve the preparation of bids for new work.
Candidate Specification:
Bachelor's degree in Naval or Civil Engineering.
Working knowledge of offshore structural engineering, including comprehension of the sea environment and hydrodynamic loads.
Deep understanding of different foundation typologies for both bottom-fixed and floating designs.
Awareness of the interfaces between turbine and foundation/platform.
Knowledge of Offshore Wind design codes and certification requirements.
First-hand knowledge of offshore structural analysis software.
Familiarity with CAD or other modelling software.
Desirable:
Demonstrable experience of project management of offshore wind projects.
Excellent IT skills particularly MS Excel/Word/Project and PowerPoint.
Self-motivation and problem-solving approach.
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to produce and review technical reports for clients.
