Overview of Role: You'll lead the delivery of offshore wind consultancy projects for clients worldwide, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and with zero errors. Responsibilities include coordination of internal and external resources, deliverable review and acceptance, budget and time adherence, client liaison, and internal reporting. The role will also involve the preparation of bids for new work.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting major wind project developments internationally.
Providing engineering input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility.
Reviewing and preparing technical and non-technical reports to a high standard.
Providing technical tender support.
Assisting with business development and client management.
Attending client and site visits as required.
Reviewing and preparing technical specifications and design drawings.
Working effectively on several projects concurrently.
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers.
Candidate Specification:
Essential Criteria:
Degree level qualifications in engineering or similar technical subject.
Experience in project management of offshore wind projects.
Excellent IT skills particularly MS Excel/Word/Project and PowerPoint.
Evidence of technical competence and a problem-solving approach.
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
Attention to detail in producing and reviewing technical reports.
Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders.
Ability to lead meetings and present effectively.
Able to analyze complex information for project decision making.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in a consultancy environment.
Ability to work in a second language.
Willingness to travel locally and globally.
Recognized Project Management training.
