You will be part of a permanently employed team who are dedicated and accountable for the assembling of the wind turbines in line with safety guidelines, project requirements, corporate methods and industry legislative standards.SGRE is based in Orlando, USA, and you can be deployed to projects worldwide including (EU and APAC).

A flexible approach to travel and working away from home on a continuing basis is essential.
We offer a competitive basic salary, generous holiday allowance, bonus scheme, and contributory pension.Relocation will not be offered for this role.ResponsibilitiesPerform, supervise, train and ensure safety during all phases of Wind Turbine Preassembly.Mechanical / electrical assembly of wind turbine generator components and associated auxiliary systems.Train and share knowledge with trainees.Conduct functional tests of assembled components and control systems.Keep records, maintain documentation, and reports as required by company policy.Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy.Mentor and share knowledge within your area of accountability.Crane operations including slinging and banking.Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:Minimum 2 years of working experience in wind industry.High School Diploma or Equivalent.Previously worked as preassembly technician or wind industry experience would be an advantage.Candidates must be able and willing to frequently travel within the United States of America, to Canada, and occasionally internationally.The ideal candidate for this role will have hands-on experience of all aspects of Wind Turbine Installation including Slinging, Signaling, Mechanical Completion, Retrofit & Snagging works.Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical systems and isolation procedures, preferably in the form of a recognized qualification, while not essential, would be a distinct advantage.This role requires a high level of Health and Safety focus with experience of working with safe systems of work
