Activities carried out in the project aim to investigate functional immune mechanisms of vaccine-induced protection against infectious diseases and identify correlates of vaccine-induced protection.The overall goals are to identify biomarkers of disease and immunity and understand the mechanisms and mediators of protective immunity induced by infection and vaccines using multidimensional clinical, epidemiological, immunological, and molecular data.This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101046314, ENDING COVID 19 VARIANTS OF CONCERN THROUGH COHORT STUDIES (END-VOC).KEY RESPONSABILITIESThe purpose of the position is to establish assays to perform functional immune profiling studies in the context of infectious diseases and vaccines. The position includes laboratory analysis of samples using multiplex and cytometry technologies. The position will require experience in antibody assays including Luminex, and cellular (innate and adaptive) cultures and assays, as well as some basic statistics and data management.
