Start your future with BorgWarner now!Job purposeA Material Handler / Warehouse is responsible for transporting material or other goods in such a way as to allow the continuous flow of products throughout the facility.Key responsibilitiesUnload/Load trucksVerify quantity loading/unloading is accurateEnsure paperwork and labelling is correctScan parts for receipt/delivery as requiredStage material for put away/pickupReviews assembly build requirementsPicks and stages parts for delivery to the production areas in such a manner that ensures that the correct quantity of the part is delivered to the correct placeDelivers material from the warehouse to the production areas and vice versaProvides support to the decant areasDrives forklift or operates other power equipment to transport a variety of materials, parts, or productsUse SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locationsNotifies supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepanciesStacks materials in designated areaUnderstands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policiesCommunicate and enforce safe work proceduresIdentify and close safety issues (suggestions, inspection, and investigation findings) and their corrective actionsUnderstands and adheres to current quality and control policiesPerform other duties as neededWhat we're looking forHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredLicensed to operate forkliftMust have previous experience in a warehouse environmentMinimum of two years of related experience supporting manufacturing operationsMust be computer literate and can perform basic MS Windows / SAP operating tasksAttendance on the job is essentialMust be able to work in a team environmentMust be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulationsWhat we believeInclusion - We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences.Integrity - We believe in transparency, authenticity, and depend on each other to deliver what we promise.Excellence - We contribute to our developments by seeking knowledge and sharing information
