The Hardware QA Engineer for DC Chargers in the validation team will design and develop the tools and test setups in order to test our DC bidirectional chargers. Design the correct test strategy and run the necessary tests in order to ensure the quality of the hardware of our Wallbox products. Analyze the performance of our products and propose improvements in order to make robust chargers that represent our quality standards.
What do we mean by "validation"? In Wallbox, the Bidi Validation team is in charge of testing all the HW and SW of our bidirectional chargers. We test not only as separate products but also as a complete solution taking into account all the product requirements. We collaborate with SW, FW and HW teams on a daily basis in order to develop the correct test strategy and deliver quality products.
As the main tasks, you will: Work in a team of engineers in order to develop the testing of our DC bidirectional chargersDevelop the tools and test setups required for design testingEvaluate product requirements and work with all the teams involved in order to deliver a quality productWork with the latest EV charging protocols (bidirectional CCS)Work closely with Firmware and Hardware Engineers to understand the product and define a correct Hardware test strategyDefine the test plans in order to identify problems and their causesDesign and create test setups to execute Hardware validation plansContinuously improve Hardware test plans and test setupsAnalyze the product performanceDocument hardware defects, using a bug-tracking system. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successesRequirements: What are we looking for?
