As a Data Analyst, you will need to build trust with partners, create and drive strategy and reports, leverage data science methodologies to solve problems, and coordinate with the operation team to support the continued growth of Engel & Völkers.
Your responsibilitiesWork cross-functionally as a strategic partner to define priorities and develop project roadmaps in synergy with partner teams, particularly with the Operations team.Build pragmatic, scalable, and statistically rigorous solutions to issues & challenges by leveraging or developing statistical and machine learning methodologies.Answer big picture questions by framing the question, turning it into an analytical plan, executing and communicating to stakeholders.Work quickly to tight deadlines, creating value from data that can help uncover unseen issues and delivering actionable insights that count.Deep dive into Engel & Völkers operational metrics and methodology to understand behavioral patterns of our clients and real estate agents and the areas for improvement.Be an advocate of various data techniques such as visualization, text analytics, predictive modelling, and process mining.Provide insights to support decision making.Carefully check, create, modify, and problem solve issues to ensure you deliver accurate and clear analysis and reports.Your qualificationsDegree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or another related field).4+ years of experience with statistical methods such as forecasting, time series, hypothesis testing, classification, clustering, or regression analysis.Experience initiating and driving projects to completion.Experience communicating complex research in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.Own your self-development regarding data tools and techniques.Critical thinker, innovator, and problem solver.Good communication skills, with good verbal and written English with ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to business stakeholders.
